Unfinished.

I spent a lot of time just wandering around the streets of Bangkok. It was Julians turn to be ill so I spent a few nights just meandering around. This is how I spent so much of my time when I was backpacking around Europe. It doesn't cost anything and gives you a taste of the real flavour of the place. These are a few of the photos I took.

There was a moment when I was crossing a bridge and I witnessed a lady fall off her scooter. Traffic was backed up across the bridge and when she wrapped the throttle the back end stepped out and she low-sided it at walking speed. None the less she had clearly hurt her foot and took some time to get up again. Meanwhile all the people behind who she was slowing down tooted at her as they went past and gave her evil stares. No one stopped to help her or ask her if she was alright. It was yet another example of the hardness of the city and it's people.

"Massaarrrge! Massaarrge! You want Massage!?"To the visiting tourist you would think this is a place that exists only for Tuk Tuks to take you to some girls for a massage. The harassment you get and the sleaze you see can easily become your main experience of the city. A lot of people come here for the cheap and liberal sex and there are plenty of establishments to cater for them.
